Tofte Township is accepting sealed bids for a roof replacement for the Birch Grove Community Center located at 9 Good Neighbor Hill Road in Tofte, Minnesota.  Bids may sent electronically to toftemn@boreal.org or submitted via U.S. mail to Tofte Board of Supervisors, P.O. Box 2293, Tofte, MN 55615.  Submissions are due by 5pm on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Specifications include:

• Labor & materials to install a new roof of approximately 17,500 square feet
• Removal of existing roof system down to the insulation on main roof
• Mechanically fastened ½” Iso HD coverboard
• Fully adhered 60 mil EPDM roof membrane with necessary flashing to create watertight finish
• Fabricate & install perimeter edge metal flashing out of 24-gauge prefinished metal
• Remove existing gymnasium roof down to wood deck & inspect/replace any bad decking. If necessary, new tapered system to be installed after decking is replaced.
• Remove & dispose of debris from project
• 20-year 72mph warranty
• Obtain/provide all necessary permits and meet or exceed OSHA standards during project duration

The Tofte Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
