Trail Systems
Tofte has a great network of XC ski, hiking, and mountain bike trails.
If you’re looking for a scenic hike, we recommend Oberg Mountain, Carlton Peak (which can be accessed from the Britton Peak Trailhead Parking Lot), and Temperance River State Park.

Snowmobile Trails
Cook County has two snowmobile clubs – The Superior Timberwolves Sportmans Club in Tofte and the Cook County Snowmobile Club.
The Cook County Snowmobile Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving and maintaining the Cook County, MN snowmobile trail systems.
