Important: Alcohol may not be sold or otherwise exchanged for compensation in any way in connection with the use of the Town Park or Town Hall. If alcohol will be present, the Town has the discretion to require the Renter to hire a licensed law enforcement officer to provide security at the event. The town reserves the right to request proof of liability insurance for any event.

Fees

Fees are to be paid at the time of the reservation confirmation. Please make all checks out to "Town of Tofte". If you are a Tofte Resident, you can rent the Park or the Town Hall for $25/day. If you are not a resident of Tofte, you can rent the Park for $1,500/day, and/or the Town Hall for $125/day.

Damage Deposit

All rentals require a $250 Damage Deposit. Deposit should be a separate check, made out to "Town of Tofte". The deposit check will be returned after the rental period if no damage is found.

Cancellation Policy

If a written notice of cancellation of the event is received at a minimum of two weeks prior to the scheduled date, a refund of the amount paid less a $25 administrative charge will be made.

By Signing Below, You Are Agreeing to Abide By the Following Policies

Town Hall

The Hall/and or Kitchen must be left in a clean condition and all tables and chairs in their proper place.
The applicant assumes all responsibility for payment of any damages to equipment or to the hall or park. The Town of Tofte reserves the right to charge reasonable fees for cleanup and costs incurred.
The facility will be used only by the organization or individual named on this application and for the purpose that it was rented.
This application is made subject to the rules and regulations of the Town of Tofte.
No keys will be issued. You must contact Town Clerk to confirm availability.

Town Park

One 1 group may reserve the park at a time.
The user must dispose of their own trash and leave the park in the same condition in which they found it.
The Town of Tofte reserves the right to charge reasonable fees for cleanup costs/and or damages incurred by users.
The user may not close the park to the general public. Public access to the boat launch, lake walks and play equipment may not be impeded or restricted.

HOLD HARMLESS CLAUSE

The user assumes all risks and will not blame the Town of Tofte for damage, injury or death. The user assumes all risks inherent in the operation and the use of the park or town hall and agrees to assume the entire responsibility for the defense of, and to pay, indemnity and hold the Town of Tofte harmless from, and hereby release the Town of Tofte from, any and all claims of damage to property or bodily injury (including death) resulting from the use, operation or possession of the park and its facilities, whether or not it be claimed or found that such damage or injury resulted in whole or in part from the Town of Tofte’s negligence, or from any cause. The user agrees that no warranties, expressed or implied, have been made in connection with this use.
